The abandonment phase of a well's lifecycle is the most important. It is not the most glamorous or exciting, but the decisions made in the final phase have a lasting impact on the long-term impact of producing oil and gas. For this reason, I wanted to share my ideas about how to identify potential issues early, so they do not grow into larger issues and our industry stays strong.
